Help Project M:25 minister
holistically during this virtual school year
COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc worldwide, and many families in Ecuador are suffering either from the virus itself or from the economic struggles resulting from shutdowns.
For example, one of our faithful, single moms was recently infected. She and her girls live in a tiny, block home where social distancing is impossible. Unable to work for weeks, and with no one else to rely on, this family was in great need. The oldest daughter instantly took on the responsibility of caring for both her mom and little sister, preparing meals, cleaning, etc. – all while trying to avoid catching the virus herself.
Several of you donated funds, allowing us to purchase her medication and emergency food rations to get them through her recovery period. Now, you can help us to ensure that these girls and the rest of our kids have the resources needed to continue their education.
Ecuador has a lot of heavily enforced COVID restrictions, one of the most drastic being that ALL schools will be VIRTUAL ONLY, even though many families have no access to computers. Many of our kids won’t be able to attend due to complications from the lack of technology or parental support.
We have identified multiple ways that our ministry can continue providing:
- educational assistance,
- emergency food and medications to families in need,
- domestic violence prevention program,
- parent training courses,
- weekly Bible studies.
We need your partnership. If you are able to support us financially, below we have some options in how to help. In this time of pandemia, we know that many are struggling financially. We have also had to make cutbacks in our budget to help withstand this time of difficulty.
Here are some ways you can help:
- Emergency food and medication for families affected by COVID $250 per family
- Back to school supplies $20 per child
