Women’s Empowerment Program

Weekly, the women of our community meet together. Precious Jewels is a holistic trauma healing program for the women of our community.

Domestic violence is a daily reality as six out of every 10 women are suffering or have suffered some sort of general violence. For us, this is unacceptable and not part of God’s plan and purpose for the lives of these “precious jewels.”

We believe and proclaim that Jesus came that these women may

“have life, and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

Therefore, we are working with the women of our community in an effort to increase their self-esteem and help them develop healthy relationships.

Future plans include the addition of an initiative for job skills training, which would allow these women to better support their families.
