Back to School: Investing in kids’ future

You have probably heard it on the news: Ecuador is in the midst of political chaos, affecting violence and employment rates. Such a situation has affected children in many different ways. This year, nearly 1 in 10 children couldn’t return to school because their families couldn’t afford it.

Your support made our Back-to-School celebration a success at Project M:25, and 150 kids are back in school.

Martha has been one of the kids who get exceptional support to return to school. She’s part of a family of six, and finances were always tight. With the crisis, her mother could not afford to send all her kids to school, so she considered not sending her oldest back to classes. But, thanks to your generosity, she’s back in the classroom. Martha and her family couldn’t be happier. They were overjoyed when they saw her unpacking her new school supplies. It wasn’t just about notebooks and pens; it was about opportunity.

Your gift continues beyond school supplies. It’s a step toward breaking the cycle of poverty for these children. Your support creates a brighter future filled with dreams and opportunities.

Project M:25’s celebration went beyond backpacks and books. We also inaugurated a brand-new playground, where kids now play and laugh. They got to unleash their creativity through painting and art. It was a day of pure childhood joy, all thanks to you.

From the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of Martha, her family, and all the children at Project M:25, we want to say a heartfelt thank you. You’ve made a real impact on their lives, believing in the power of education. We’re creating a brighter future for these kids and our community. Thank you for being part of this fantastic journey!
