Earlier this year, we had the visit of the Field Director for Latin America, Dr. Angel Marcial. He invited us to take our model into other communities across Latin America. As part of the plan to expand into new communities, we developed a 10-lesson program endorsed by Lee University and SEMISUD, the Church of God Bible school for Latin America, to train leaders and ministers to love their neighbors better.
We hosted a 1-week pilot program with SEMISUD students who came from 7 different countries and tested the material so we could launch it in the next few months to Latin American leaders and ministers. The students were excited to learn how to love their neighbors and show compassion to those in need. This program serves them to become better community chaplains and train them to provide better care for their neighbors.
We are excited to take this opportunity to help thousands of leaders in Latin America as we expand the Give Water project to more communities to get access to clean water and how these community chaplains will get the right tools to provide care and love to vulnerable children and their families.
