How do you feel today?

How do you feel today? Did you know that when we put feelings into words, we actually change the brain’s response to the emotions themselves?! Nice!

We feel like celebrating the amazing things God did over the past few months. Thanks to our amazing supporters we saw the following:

  • 197 weekly participants in our programs for kids, teens, and women;
  • 69 individuals received trauma-informed counseling;
  • 1045 people received clean drinking water – FOR LIFE;
  • 589 families welcomed us for home health visits;
  • 130 backpacks filled with school supplies were provided!

Now you can celebrate with us and thank God for the miracles He’s working in the lives of so many children and families in Ecuador.

Back to School

Schools in Ecuador are finally opening up to in-person studies. Last month, we celebrated going back to school. Each child received a backpack filled with brand new school supplies.

Part of our mission is fusing the Bible with trauma-informed coping strategies to help the children deal with adverse experiences. Keeping with this theme, the backpacks were designed to help the children label their feelings, a proven method for building resilience and overcoming trauma.

Give Christmas is Coming

For just $25, you can Give Christmas to a child who – without you – might not receive anything this Christmas. The gifts you give them will mean so much more than just the gift itself, it is a physical reminder of God’s love for them and it shows them that someone out there loves them and is praying for them. You can make their Christmas wishes come true. ~ I want to Give Christmas ~
